Really beautiful hotel. The rooms are nice and clean. The bathrooms are large. The restaurant on site is wonderful for a special dinner. The breakfast was very nice with many traditional French options including local cheese. I didn’t use the pool, but it was very nice. The spa has 2 nice jacuzzi’s that are large. Everything was well maintained.

Classic chateau property just outside Bayeux! Taxi was quick but necessary. Pool & spa special, as well as, the property grounds. Restaurant 1790 was Michelin Star level & wouldn’t be surprised if they receive one star in the future.

Absolute perfection — a dream come true in Normandy! From the moment we arrived at Château de Sully, it felt like stepping into an absolute fairytale. Calling it a hotel almost doesn’t do it justice; it is a true "dreams come true" experience. The castle itself is breathtaking, and the sprawling, perfectly manicured grounds and English park create a sense of serene tranquility that immediately puts you at ease. Walking through the estate was pure magic. The highlight of our stay, however, was the dining experience at their restaurant. We opted for the tasting menu, and to say it exceeded expectations would be an understatement—it was hands down the best meal we have ever had. Every course was masterfully prepared, exquisitely presented, and packed with extraordinary flavor. What truly elevated our entire stay was the exceptional hospitality of our evening hosts, Thomas and Chris. They provided a level of warmth, attentiveness, and personalized care that created a unforgettable experience unlike anything we’ve ever had before. Their service made us feel so welcome and turned a wonderful evening into a cherished memory. If you are visiting Normandy, do not hesitate to stay and dine here. A heartfelt thank you to Thomas, Chris, and the entire team at Château de Sully for an unforgettable experience!

We stayed one night at the chateau in July as a family of 5, including three teens. The property exterior is beautiful. Our kids enjoyed the pool. Our unit was a 2-bed, 2-bath. Unfortunately the hotel did not tell us ahead of time that the upstairs bath was out of order. Or offer any type of reimbursement. We paid almost $700 for the night. The main floor of the unit did have a mini split a/c, however, the upstairs attic bedroom did not. It was so hot, easily 20 degrees warmer, that our boys ended up sleeping on the couch and chairs on the main level. No one slept well that night. Very disappointed. Sadly would not recommend for families.

We arrived for our stay down a long beautiful driveway, pristine gardens up to a wonderful chateau only to check in and not be staying in the chateau but a mansion they called at the side of the chateau, when we checked out I did express my disappointment at this, we had been in Normandy for 6 days and this was our last night, spending a little more on our accommodation as a treat, we were extremely disappointed in our stay. Our room was dirty, there were cobwebs everywhere, mould in the wardrobe and pieces of the bath chipped out. We then went to the pool and to use the hot tubs and sauna, only first to find a dead mouse in the pool, we reported this and the reception lady came and fished out said mouse with a net and said we could still use the pool! The hot tub which was uncovered was cloudy, only half full and had hair all floating on the top, the sauna was cold and so was the shower available in that room. The shower screen was hanging off the wall as well! The only thing about our stay we enjoyed was the breakfast the following morning. When we checked out I voiced my unhappy stay only to be told to reach out if I ever wanted to stay again, they would make sure we were in the chateau and give us a discount. To be honest I think we should have received a full refund, this stay really did not live up to our expectations.

We traveled with a group of 8 family members. This boutique hotel is not centrally located in a town, but is very conveniently located to visiting the various attractions in the area. The rooms were comfortable, clean, and quiet. The spa and pool areas were also very nice and we would definitely return for a longer stay.

We had a very enjoyable stay, spent a lot of the time at the pool which was heated and in a nice location. Room was large considering it was a standard. Staff friendly, clean hotel, lots of parking, short drive to town, nice location and surroundings. We didn't eat at the restaurant as didn't like the menu.

Its a beautiful chateau in Normandy. It is everything you are hoping for. We will stay here again if we ever get back to France. I had dreams of living here. 😁. It is just up the road from Omaha beach and in a great location. We are so happy we stayed here vs in Bayeux. Bayeux is nice but this was perfect.
