「The area was somewhat “sketchy”. The check-in person was very nice and the free complimentary breakfast was very good, although I don’t think they have it anymore. I used to stay because of the free transport to Silver Dollar City and free breakfast, a new Cajun restaurant is available and the people are very nice! . It’s totally different and outdated. However, the room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The washer and dryer were out of order which I needed after a day at Silver Dollar...

「Absolutely loved Cabin #9 and the property. Beautiful view, great porch looking over the lake. We had beautiful weather majority of our stay so we enjoyed the view. The cabin is clean and peaceful and had everything we need to cook with and stay for a while. Property owner is really nice and accommodating. It was a blessing and we will be back. 」

「Its definitely a older hotel, but the room was clean and everything worked as it should. The lady in the office was very friendly and made sure our stay was up to our expectations. She was also helpful in locating a place for us to have dinner very near by. We just need a room to get ready for a local concert we were attending and a quiet place to return for the night to get some sleep before we headed home. This place met that and with the nightly rate, we will definitely be back if we return...

「We have been staying at Shady Acres for decades. It is still a mom&pop type of operation, if you need service 24/7, look elsewhere. Strictly a family and senior clientele, usually well booked up far in advance. We love it.」

「The communication was amazing. When I texted, I received an immediate response. When I notified the property about a broken piece on the sofa bed, they offered to come out and repair it. I believe the previous guests may have broken it and hadn't notified them. Lovely location. Fabulous amenities. Perfect location in relation to Silver Dollar City. Would highly recommend!」

「The place was cute. It was small, (definitely a 2 person unit). But it was just my husband and I, so it was perfect for us. Some of the vertical blinds were missing on the sliding glass door, there were some broken and cracked floor tiles in the kitchen and in the bathroom, and the bathroom sink had a very slow drain. But overall we enjoyed our stay and appreciated the great communication with the property management.」
