Soo much better than the pictures! This place is beautiful. The room is modern and clean, the breakfast is divine the staff are so friendly. I personal feel the pictures don’t do it justice. I really enjoyed my stay and they have great wifi if you need to work while traveling.

The staff at Astra was incredible! They embody the heart of Pura Vida and costa rica. Astra felt like such a safe, clean, space to land as a solo traveler. I will definitely be back!

This property has a lot of potential. The individual staff members were nice and very eager to please once we engaged with them. But from the moment we arrived until we left, it was clear that the hotel guests are not priority, as everyone’s main focus seems to be on their onsite restaurant (breakfast was very good!) When there were issues with water, we had to ask for updates. We had to ask for our room to be freshened up after several days. Maybe I’d be less critical if we didn’t pay a pretty high price to stay. We were disappointed.

This hotel is amazing! There only 8 rooms so it almost like you have the place to yourself…the pool and outdoor covered area. The staff is super friendly and communicative. The included breakfasts are delicious. One thing, get/ask for a garden view room, as it is super private with a little patio. The restaurant is top notch also. It is out of Playa Guiones touristy area but walkable in 15min to Playa Pelada. Blue Nosara nearby has great yoga drop in classes. Some good cafes on the way to beach. Local taxi like transport via TucTucs.

We loved our stay at Astra! We both needed a comforting place to call home for a few days after bouncing around all over. This was the perfect place with the perfect amenities. Highly recommend, would stay again.

I love to stay at this hotel when I need, for work or leisure, it is well kept and comfortable. The staff is amazing & restaurant on site Le Estelle is very good. Five star service for the staff and full of details in their large bedrooms, which also have an outdoor area. The pool is a big plus. Very competitive pricing for Nosara.
