We had a wonderful stay at the Kings Head Hotel. The room was very clean, comfortable and cosy, the food was excellent and all the staff were just amazing, nothing was too much trouble, they were all friendly and polite and made our stay extra special. We felt it was very good value.

A lovely stay for a couple of nights while visiting the area on holiday with my family (booked a family room for 4). It has been recently refurbished nicely and the staff were really helpful and friendly. Would recommend to others looking to stay in the area.

Welcoming

Very friendly welcome to the hotel and a bonus to have separate beds for the children. Pub/restaurant was nice and had the added bonus of darts and a pool table.

Nice Overnight Stay.

Excellent overnight stay. Leah and her staff were very nice. Food good, especially the full “Big Breakfast” served on nice warm plates! Something that you don’t get everywhere these days. Hotel must have been recently renovated and our room was very good with an unusual three steps down into the bathroom (something to remember to tell staff if you are not quite as mobile as us) which was spotless and the shower was brilliant. We will be back sometime! Thanks.

Not the best stay

The room was clean. Paint peeling in the bathroom and shower head very lime scaled. Pillows were very very very hard and the bed was like sleeping on a pavement so overall very uncomfortable. We left a day early. Staff were friendly although reception was also restaurant booking area so while we were being checked in there were people queuing for tables getting very grumpy at the delays.

We stayed here for a weekend at the beginning of July and despite the pouring rain our stay was excellent thanks to the staff and lovely recently refurbished room and bathroom. They were all welcoming and helpful in every way. Would stay there again anytime.
