Eine wundervolle Unterkunft, mit sehr vielen Details in der Innenausstattung. Man fühlte sich sehr wohl. Alles war sehr liebevoll eingerichtet.

We loved our room! Immaculately clean, very spacious and really nicely decorated. Had great helpful touches including a night light in the bathroom (which we both really appreciated), games and puzzles and tourist information. Would definitely stay there again.

We had a lovely time. The room was clean and comfortable. The bathtub was so nice. The only thing that we were disappointed about was that in your advertisement it said continental breakfast. The bananas and yogurt were nice but we were expecting an actual breakfast.

Cute vibes, tucked away nicely in the woods while still being a convenient location within walking distance of the town and excellent food options across the street. The bed was comfortable and overall it was a wonderful place to stay. Soundproofing could be improved, as it was possible to hear snoring and the TV from other guests.

Very cute, very comfortable. The "continental breakfast" could use a tweak or two. Muffins, unripe bananas and tiny portions of yogurt did not satisfy. Otherwise, very nice.

Excellent location and just the getaway we needed. In walking distance to the water and grocery store. Rustic comfy vibes at this Inn. The bed was comfortable, spacious shower and deck. Yvette the Inn keeper was amazing, she prepared a lovely continental breakfast with coffee every morning which we ate on adirondak chairs surrounded by a beautifully landscaped lot.We had a camp fire at night with some other visitors, grateful for our memorable stay.

Beautiful rooms, natural setting, walked downtown!
Very nice location with beautiful rooms, natural setting and walking distance to downtown shops, restaurants and cruises. Friendly staff (Yvette) was available and accommodating. Thank you, we'll be back!

Absolutely beautiful gem of a place. Only negative remark would be, You can hear everything in the house, thank goodness it rained every night to muffle the noise from other guests.

We could hear people living upstairs walking, dropping things, moving chair etc. This place is showing location on the map is incorrect. It is not located next to Bay St, it's located three blocks away.

Our host was the best. She had fresh baked unique item every day. She even caught us as we were leaving with a snack for the trip. The room was spectacular. It was warm and colorful. We did not want to leave.

The Mermaid Inn was just perfect for us. It was clean and close to everything. The room was beautiful and a pleasure to stay in. Yvette was really friendly and helpful. We would definitely recommend the Mermaid when visiting Tobermory.

Wonderful place to stay
A unique property to stay in Tobermory which feels like home. Loved the decor and the property manager was such a pleasure to deal,with, she even made us a outdoor fire in the fire pit 😁

We booked the weekend looking forward to visiting Tobermory but - despite being vaxxed and boosted, I came down with a bad case of COVID on the day before we were to travel. (We would not have been able to enter Canada even if we wanted to.) That said, the management refused to provide any sort of refund or credit. We are out a lot of money and very disappointed in their response.

Our reservations are very clear and it is non-refundable. I can be flexible if you want to cancel with enough notice but when you cancel the day of it is difficult to find a replacement.

Very rustic charming. If you’re looking for 5* amenities you won’t get that here. However, the grounds are lovely and it’s peaceful. Yvette, the innkeeper is helpful and knowledgeable about the area. The suites are not soundproof and can use some updates but still charming in keeping with the inn theme. Only real negative is the price. $400 per night. Far too much for what you get.

Very nice bohemian decor. We enjoyed the privacy, as we booked a room above the garage, separate from the main house. It was peaceful, except occasional traffic, along hwy 6.
