Perfect choice for our stay. Check-in and check-out was a breeze. Front desk associates were warm & friendly. Pool and rooms were extremely clean & the kids LOVED the pool and playground. And it’s so close to the beach that we were easily able to get the kids up and hit the beach in the morning to watch the sunrise. The ONLY downside is that it’s at the very end of the boardwalk, slightly away from the piers and shops but there’s a bike rental almost as soon as you enter the boardwalk by the hotel so that helped! Will be booking again!

My family and I had a great experience so close to the beach and boardwalk we enjoyed the clean and well maintained pool, the room we stayed in was clean, spacious and the A/C was cold. We highly recommend this property for your vacation or just a weekend away.

First time at Matador. Property is in a great location. Steps from Boardwalk and beach. ONE NOTE - Week of Labor Day - no Tram Car. Meant long walk on the boards with most places closed. If you wanna eat - gonna walk far...Disappointed in that. Room was fine. Clean. AC was noisy but cool. Pool was very nice. Staff was friendly and helpful. I will come back again.

We had a great stay during the Barefoot Country Music Festival. Our room was clean, the staff was so nice, the pool was nice too. Close to the beach. Loved having my coffee and/or drinks and dinner looking out at the ocean. The tram car was very convenient too. I would stay again.
