「This is such a fabulous place to stay! The owner is very gracious and has spent many decades restoring this beautifully-crafted Victorian house to perfection. A very charming place, comfortable and quiet, with a pleasant view of the river from the front porch. The breakfast was also top-notch.」

「Very comfortable and well cared for. Spiral staircase to large upstairs bedroom. Wood floors shining. Property is on a dirt road which is a bit rough but also, no traffic past the lodge and a good place for a walk. Though we brought our own food, there was a lovely plate of apple cake,cookies and loaf of homemade bread waiting for on arrival that we enjoyed. A nice touch. Only negative was limited silverware and a sauce pan would be nice. Overall, an enjoyable stay. No tv or internet but I used...

「Peggy was VERY helpful, by providing information in the room for Groundhog Day. Her communication was thoughtful (providing check-in information, a hand-drawn map of the surrounding streets and highlighting the parking, and a list of local restaurants in Clearfield). There was a kitchen and full-sized refrigerator, as well as soda / candy / chips available to purchase on the honor system (it was good for my kids to see that). This was beyond perfect, and I couldn't recommend it more. 」

「We just stopped in for the night to sleep before heading to Ocean City Maryland. The hotel was clean, convenient and had decent breakfast I called to request more pillows and the front desk, Jay was very nice and able to accommodate my request.」

「Staff was friendly and accommodating and the on site restaurant food was very good. The bathroom was small and it would be nice to have more shelf space for toiletries when using the bathroom.」

「The cost of our room was reasonable; however, 3 out of 4 light bulbs in our bed room did not work. (Both lamps with defective light bulbs had electric outlets which did work.) I liked the fact that the sink was in a separate room from the shower and that we had access to USB ports to plug in our hearing aid chargers. Finally, the drain for the whower/tub was slow. 」
