「I stayed at the links with my sons for their birthday weekend. It was such a great experience. I arrived at the property and spoke with the representatives at the front desk. They were very warm and welcoming, and I really do appreciate that we were able to relate on some topics while having a brief discussion. 「We were able to change rooms once we got there because the carpet was dirty & there wasn’t a washer & dryer. When we checked in, I was told you could not get clean towels & bath cloths because we had a washer & dryer. The staff were not consistent in the information they provided. Most were rude except for Chris (manager). The cleaning staff came in twice before we checked out. Seems like they would be updated in real time once people checked out. 「My husband I greatly enjoyed our get away at Avista Resort! We three employees we would like to compliment, Maurice he was very helpful at 12 or 1 am one night when I TV would not work, he came up and reprogrammed it and showed us how to navigate it. 「My room was beautiful! Plenty of space for my family. Check in was a breeze. Only negative was roaches (palmetto) on the balcony. I never seen them in the room or inside facility but did make utilizing the balcony rather difficult. 」

「Hotel has nice access to beach and convenient to a few decent restaurants. Room layout is a bit weird with beds as you walk in, then kitchen area then bathroom area then living area. Beds were very firm and pillows were overly stuffed and firm. Not very comfortable. Smelled both cigarette and pot smoke around rooms, lobby, and on balcony the whole stay.
