Inns in North Central Province

The property was absolutely beautiful and well kept. The staff were amazing and the meals were delicious. Highly recommend!

Our stay at Uga Ulagalla was by far the highlight of our trip to Sri Lanka. Far from the busy roads and honking buses this multi acre property was an oasis. Bungalows are situated all over the property, some with private plunge pools. Rooms are large with an entry way, living room, dressing area, oversized bathroom and bedroom. The food was delicious with a variety of entrees between Western and Sri Lankan. The Sri Lankan food was outstanding. Arrival greeting and check-in is friendly,...

The lake is gorgeous; sunrise and sunset over the lake specially. Food was great at the hotel restaurant, the service was great.

This hotel is one of the nicest hotels I’ve ever been to. It’s so quiet and peaceful. The cabins are very clean and well furnished. The garden is amazing. The staff are so nice and the breakfast is delicious.

My second time staying at the property. Nice, clean place to stay. Dinner and breakfast were great.

This place is great. Not for it's facilities, but for the honesty, kindness and professionalism of it owner Anska. The bungalow rooms are very simple, with a/cand shower, clean an comfortable and cooectly priced. There is very good food served for breakfast and evening meals if you want them. Anska will take you in his jeep or tuc-tuc to any of the marvelous sites in the area and also do jeep safaris into the local parks to see elephants and other fauna. All at reasonable prices. He has a good...

A Perfect Introduction to Sri Lankan Hospitality Our stay at Wilpattu Tree House was nothing short of amazing and served as a perfect introduction to the warm and thoughtful hospitality of Sri Lanka. From the moment we arrived, the hosts made sure every detail was taken care of, creating an experience that was both comfortable and memorable. One of our highlights was the safari tour of Wilpattu National Park, which our hosts graciously arranged for us. The driver they connected us with was...

The host was very responsive whenever there's an amenity issue in the room. I had a very peaceful and quiet stay there as a solo female traveller.

The Aryana hotel exceeded our expectations. The whole place was spotless, service was terrific, the food was delicious and the hospitality was incredible. Nelu, the manager took care of ourselves, he made sure we enjoyed our stay in all aspects, he gave us tips for our trip, helped secure a tuktuk to take us around, and engaged in meaningful conversation. He even provided us with a free upgrade as our room was not very confortable the first night. I highly recommend this hotel.

This is a small hotel punching well above its weight thanks to the wisdom and care of its manager, Anna. As a family of 5 she looked after our every need - including excellent in house Ayervedic massage and bike hire. Rooms are clean, spacious and shower best so far in SL. Highly recommended.

Was initially upset they didn’t give the room booked on Expedia. They rectified it shortly thereafter and the stay was smooth with friendly staff

We stayed only one nihgt and we had a pleasant stay. Breakfast is not that great though

It started with a bad surprise, for which I would blame Hotels.com as they showed pictures of the Mahoora tents, but booked us in the Big Game tent… a lower standard. Once that issue was cleared, we truely enjoyed our stay… the Mahoora tent is amazing, in a stunning environment. Service is great, candle dinner is amazing… and the safari organization was perfect.

The staff was the best and made my short stay a very pleasant one. The front desk manager Akalanka was one of the best. The tuk tuk driver the hotel arranged was also very professional.
