A great place to relax!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Free Spirit Pods! Such a beautiful and peaceful place to get away for a couple of nights. We loved everything about the property and highly recommend a stay here when visiting Bruny Island

Cosy and comfortable property with good facilities. Very quiet with gorgeous surroundings overlooking the water. Great to see the Pademelon’s, Wallabies and Bandicoot’s around the grounds.

This was a very peaceful location, with plenty of opportunity to see the local wildlife. The pod was well laid out with a spacious deck and comfortable seating. The access road to the units is single lane gravel, rutted and extremely steep, and should be noted as 4wd only. We had to back out all the way in our front wheel drive vehicle. The beach is close by, but isn’t like the white sandy beaches in other parts of the island. It’s more mud than sand, however there is easy access to oysters, and fishing rods and tackle are also supplied with plenty of places to try your luck. The unit faces south onto the bay and would be a great place to watch an aurora, or just stargaze. A switch to disable the many solar garden lights would help with this- they stayed on for most of the night.

Top notch private villa

It was amazing. Exceeded all our expectations. 5 star villa, an out of the world experience being far from the city. Very private, with free access to the hosts' kayaks and fishing poles! There was only one other villa there so we were the only ones kayaking in the beautiful and calm sea. Serenity at its best! Appliances and furniture were top notch too. Wish we had the opportunity to stay longer.

Perfect/Romantic Hideaway

Wonderful hideaway on Burny Island! Beautiful/romantic pod, with top quality finishing and appliances, loved the pellet heater! Chris and Garry your hosts live on site and there for any needs or assistance. Wonderful extras within the pod, marshmallows for the fire pot, sweets for a treat, kitchen well stocked to cook yourself (bowls/toasty machine/ bbq utensils etc. Netflix and Stan also available on your t.v. Well worth the stay :-)

Free Spirit Pods were incredible! Essentials such as cleanliness and comfort were exceptional...
