Went for an event. Very nice. The hotels entrance was under construction but it looks like it will be nicer ince they're done.

Wyndham Garden Norfolk Downtown
We only stayed 1 night to attend a banquet being held locally, the room was quite large and easily accommodated 4 adult women with a sitting room which was an added bonus. The elevators were quite loud and felt shaky but worked fine. The front desk was exceptionally friendly and helpful.

The room was clean and fine when we arrived and the beach view was great , however we had to checkout early because the room was infested with small black flying insects which seemed to multiply by the minute. The desk clerk said it was because they nest on the beach. She offered to spray the room ...
