Having to walk through cigarette smoke from the staff smoking at the lobby entrance took the shine off things though. Idar-Oberstein itself is not what I expected. It's all a bit shabby, run-down and sad. In the centre we saw a lot of poverty, homelessness and on the street drinking which made it feel a little edgy and unsafe. 「location is far from the town, but quiet.」

「It was a good hotel overall. Only things was that our reservation made through Expedia was not in their system.. good thing there were rooms available」

「Preis-Leistung war ok! Inklusiv Parkplatz ist sehr gut!」

「Sehr unkompliziert und preislich echt ein Hit」
