You can definitely hear the airplanes overhead when they are using the runway that points toward this hotel, but the night we were at the hotel the airplane noise stopped at a reasonable time, did not start up again until morning, and did not impact our sleep. If I were planning on spending a lot of time in the room during the day or evening, the noise might have gotten annoying. 」

「The hotel is just a short walk from the port and it’s about 7 min away from Lion Square. The sound proof is amazing considering it’s on a main street and very close to the airport. Dimitri made some very good recommendations on restaurants - all of our meals have been amazing in Heraklion. The only recommendation I made is to replenish bottled water every day, rather than just giving 2 small bottles for the whole say. But all in all, good value for money and great hospitality! 」
