This is an historic inn built around 1750, one of 3 or 4 former inns/houses managed by one owner all within a few feet of each other on a quiet street with easy walking to Bowen wharf and numerous restaurants. This was the lesser priced of the group. Our room (#1) was nice with a modern bathroom and very comfortable bed. Staff, including owner, were incredibly friendly. Check-in was in the Cleveland house (next door), breakfast was served in Melville. The included breakfast was cooked to order and was excellent (the french toast really stood out). I would highly recommend this inn group and would certainly stay there again if we where in the area. BTW - Verizon cell phone service is very spotty in the area, Wi-Fi is available. Parking was not a problem.
