Clean and quiet room . Eating area was clean and relaxing. The staff was pleasant, although they are located at a different property. The parking lot could use repairs. Location was wonderful- in the heart of shopping and food.

This was a great little 3 day getaway place. Located in the heart of Berlin Ohio. It is within walking distance to most of the shopping in the heart of town. Very easy to get in and out because of an alley way. Clean and basic. Our room had a jacuzzi tub. Overall very good experience.

Beyond excellent! Very, very clean. Very accommodating very nice, updated and modern. I have never seen a hotel this clean and i travel everywhere. Breakfast was delicious and so many choices. Room had refridgerater, microwave and coffee pot. We will definatly be there again. Staff was exceptional in all ways.

As of May 15, 2026, Lodging on the Square's check-in is at the Berlin Heritage Inn, not far away. And this is the case whether you arrive during regular hours or after hours. Also, there is a small breakfast right there at Lodging on the Square. I found conflicting information on the site, so I wasn't sure until we arrived what the case would be. The rooms were very nice, and very clean. There was road traffic noise in the morning, if that matters to you. There are shops and restaurants very nearby. I would stay here again, for the price we got through Expedia. Expedia has done consistently well for me, with great discounts. Be careful not to use the "Reservation Desk" phone number to book your room. You will be speaking to someone who books for many hotels, and is not especially helpful. The phone number for Lodging on the Square has a 330 area code, and the staff at that number are very kind and helpful. When I mentioned that Reservation Desk was not the best experience, staff told me they had heard that before. Very good experience.
