This was our first stay at the Carlisle Inn, and we will be returning again in the near future. Our room was extremely clean and it was very quiet. If you need rest this is the place you need. I would encourage everyone to check this place out. The staff is friendly and helpful. Love the breakfast, and the snacks at night.

Carlisle Inn Walnut Creek was very nice, quiet and relaxing. The entire staff gave excellent hospitality. The room in its entirety was very clean, including the bathroom. I surprise my twin sister (from Pennsylvania) with a two day stay. She was very surprised and happy and couldn’t stop saying how much she loved it. It was so relaxing to sit on the balcony and enjoy the nice spring breeze. The entire staff at the Inn was very nice, from check-in to the time we left. Let me not forget the wonderful ladies who served the breakfast. I’m sorry I I did not get their names but they worked the mornings of April 16 and 17th. I will definitely be coming back for a stay. If you’re looking for a place to relax, enjoy the breeze and the wonderful scenery. This is the place to go. There were wonderful places to shop and explore. The Amish people community, a very welcoming and inviting.

The room facilities were absolutely beautiful the view was spectacular. The breakfast was amazing very friendly staff.

Apparently the restaurant has a banquet hall on the lower level of the hotel. Everyone attending the baquet took all the parking which left no parking for paying hotel quest. The banquet had a band that played " loud music" to the point that your windows were shaking and you could not even hear the TV. They played until 9pm at night. No considering was given to hotel quest that had already paid for a " quiet peacefully time in Amish country". Given the fact that everything else in Amish country closes on a Saturday at 6pm. Even the restaurant closed at 8pm, what were paying hotel quests to go. I have stayed many times here and have always liked it here but , no care or concern was given to hotel quests. When i expessed my concern to staff at the desk , it was like " oh well" we just found out about it. They advertise as peace and comfort but on this stay it was not the case. I could of stayed another night at a hotel in the city.

2nd floor room was clean and comfortable. Faced the rear with a view of the rolling farm lands from an individual room deck. Short 1 minute walk to an excellent restaurant. Breakfast was adequate with many offerings.

Staff was friendly. Room was small but efficient. It did have sample sized complimentary shampoo, lotion, soap etc, there was a hairdryer (nice one), and a moving makeup mirror on the wall. There was a nice cabinet to hang clothes in. It also had a rack in the cabinet for a suitcase. There was a mini fridge, and a single serve coffee maker. Our room would have been best for one person traveling alone. The room had a small table, with two nice chairs. Good for working or eating. There were no chairs for relaxing in. That was something we would have really appreciated. In the evening they offered juice, coffee, tea, pop corn and cookies. In the morning they offered complimentary breakfast. Coffee, tea, juice, waffles, cereal, and cinnamon rolls. The room had a balcony. We did not take advantage of that. In our case, it looked out over the highway. So it was very loud, not scenic because of the highway. Sleeping was a challenge due to all the traffic, trucks with the Jake brakes and Sirens all night long. Perhaps the rooms on the other side of the hotel would have been more scenic, and quieter. There was an exercise room. To our knowledge there was no pool. If there was one, it was not promoted or mentioned to us.

This hotel is great! I would recommend it as an excellent place to stay. The decor is beautiful! They treat guests with courtesy, the breakfast was yummy (especially the pastries), and the availability of tea, coffee, and snacks all evening was so thoughtful.
