「We loved our stay at Mayfair. The one bedroom apartment was clean, modern and comfortable. The fully furnished small kitchen was functional and very practical to prepare breakfast in the modern before going out for the day or for midday snack.」

「The FMI enjoys a very convenient location in the French quarter at a generally affordable price. The architecture style is french with big windows and lovely courtyard quiet in a short distance away from the hustling streets outside. The manager and frontdesk people are all very nice dealing with unexpected situation in a very prompt manner. There is cable TV in the room. The AC works very well. The window view is pleasant.」

The courtyards are beautiful, the pool well maintained, the rooms clean and the staff so helpful and friendly. The hotel is convienently placed amongst the attractions of the Quarter. 「The lobby and the rooms were so unique. We were close to Bourbon Street enough so that we walked to the French quarter. Easy to get in and out of the parking lot but be advised that there's a $20 parking fee per day which is very reasonable.」

However, upon checking into this hotel, the rooms were extremely old, the lighting was uncomfortable, giving the feeling of being in an operating room. The photos looked great, but the reality was vastly different, with worn-out sofas. Very disappointed. This hotel doesn't even come close to a 4-star standard, and staying here was very unpleasant. Eventually left a day early and switched to another hotel.」
