Liked: Staff & service
The Owner Staff were very polite. I noticed from the lobby setting and the room that the property needs to be updated it looks old and some of the rooms smell like smoke. I didn’t feel comfortable staying. I re-booked to another Hotel the pictures on the website are not current .
Upon arriving, I got a very sketchy, unsafe vibe from the motel. There’s no cameras or anything. My refrigerator didn’t work. The shower didn’t work very well and the tub didn’t look very clean. My friend had another room and saw a cockroach on her bed, got her money back, and went to another hotel. I toughed it out. I would never stay here again or recommend it to anyone.
I don’t know if all the rooms look this bad, but my room needed to be demolished down to the studs and completely refresh everything. None of the fixtures, furniture or bed should be kept. Maybe the bed frame was ok, I didn’t look at it too closely. The mattress sags on both sides and should be tossed out. My back was not happy the next morning. The tile floor was a good replacement for what I imagine was carpet at some point. After I took a shower as I was putting my sock on, I noticed my feet were dirty. Apparently, they don’t mop the floor well between guests. Sheets had stains on them, walls had cracks and holes. In the bathroom, unless the bathroom was red at some point, I think it had blood on the wall. I took a lot of photos to share. The area was quiet and I felt safe. The rate during the Super Bowl was about the least expensive place I could find, even though I booked it about a year before the event. I would not recommend this as a place to stay until they address the situation.
We requested a non-smoking room, but upon entering the room we were bombarded with the stench of cigarette smoke. It was honestly overwhelming. There was a huge black stain in our ceiling, not sure if that was mold or not, our toilet was loose and moved around when sitting to use. I tried using the room phone to call front desk for assistance, but there weren’t even any wires! It was just a phone sitting on the table. There were loud neighbors that woke us up at odd hours, some holes in the wall, and a roach in the tub. I found a pubic hair on what should have been a fresh unused washcloth. The floor was so filthy that the bottoms of my feet were black after a couple hours in our room. For the positives, there was a Dollar General within a 2 minute walk, the location of the hotel was perfect for driving distance to activities we had planned to do. The mini fridge and microwave were awesome, we were able to save money from eating out by buying some small groceries at the DG. The tv worked great, great channels that kept us entertained. If you’re on a budget, this will do, however if you’re looking for comfort, go elsewhere.
Roaches. Wall rotten at shower head, due to leaking shower head behind wall. No guest laundry room. Molding around window rotten. No ice bucket, no iron,no hair dryer. Room was never cleaned. Door key never worked. Robert Pullens
This is by far the worst hotel I have ever stayed in, I got 2 rooms and both were VERY UNSANITARY oh and we all have bite on us, which look like bed bug bites.
