I got there at 2pm and no one was there, and the "Open" sign was OFF. I went inside to see a piece of paper to call the number listed. I called it and a man told me that room #3 was open and the key was inside. The carpets had stains EVERYWHERE !!! It was the most disgusting hotel room I have ever seen. I slept with my clothes on because of the filth. I had an early morning appointment and to my surprise, the shower DID NOT work !!! I called the same number as the day before at 7:25am, and I was NOT surprised that no one answered. Now, 26 hours later, I still haven't gotten a call back. I wasn't surprised that my car was the only one in the entire parking lot at night or in the morning. How on earth did this place receive any positive reviews? I feel some sort of a refund is due.

Our room was in great condition and the staff member who checked us in was very courteous! However, there were some difficulties with the room’s amenities. The ac/heating unit worked, but only on “auto” mode. It would not allow us to turn it to “heat” mode. The bedsheet was not properly installed and we woke up to a corner of the sheet completely rolled off. Our shower did not have warm water. The bathroom did not have a trash bin either, so if we needed to toss something out like a toiletry or a tissue, we would have to bring it out. Lastly, we were aware the Lodge was behind a club. What we were not prepared for was the amount of door slamming and loud noises you would hear in the middle of the night and early in the morning. Yes, we’re by a main road. Yes, it could be the wind. But we expected there would be some courtesy for other guests. All in all, we hope the Lodge will make improvements to their facilities before we return to New Hope- we would love to come back if so!

Cute little lodge, staff was friendly and units were clean. Be aware that everything is very old, and that the rooms only have a resedintal keypad lock with no additonal in-room latch for extra security.

No frills, motel-style room - don’t expect luxury here. A bit expensive for what you actually get. The bar on site was fun and its really close to an awesome area, plus the guy at the front desk was cool.

Stained carpet, hard water buildup in shower head made the shower shoot over shower curtain and flood floor, cigarette burns on bathroom shelf, needs more attention to maintenance. Room needs baseboard trim and door into room has no weather strip guard. Outside sunlight and critters can creep in. Stay was ok and the staff was very nice. Just would of expected more for my $250 night stay.

The staff were all wonderful and the bed was comfortable, but the bathroom was not clean. There were multiple spider webs with bugs in them that were clearly old, water stains/rust in the tub, damage to the random desk chair and just not a clean environment. I expected more out of a place surrounded by the amazing New Hope. I would stay again out of necessity, but wouldn’t book for my very particular mother (if that makes sense to describe it).

We loved this place. Can't wait to go back again! It has a friendly, cosy vibe and is extremely LGBTQ+ inclusive. It's only a 20 minute walk from the accommodation to the main street of New Hope.
