「This is a great place to stay for walks in the surrounding hills, with some great views. The breakfasts and dinners were excellent and I think I ate too much as it was so food. The lounge area is quiet and very homely, nice to sit with a cup of coffee & read. The lady manager was very kind and helpful & allowed me to practice my bad Norwegian on her 😉」

「The room is smaller than expected, basically no space for luggage. Too many cushions on the bed given not a comfortable sofa is provided. The pool club is pricy without upfront information and surprisingly not free for hotel guests. There is no electric kettle or coffee maker in the room. Nevertheless, the breakfast is great. 」

「We stopped in Geilo because of the way back to Oslo from Bergen. We knew nothing before arrival but we finally knew that it’s the great place for skiing. After our arrival, we checked in at 7 or 8 pm but the staff still told us the necessary information. The room is spacious but the interior of the ground and underground are in progress of renovation. 「Allt var bra, välstädat rum, utmärkt frukost, trevlig personal, restaurang på hotellet, mysig lounge i lobbyn med fritt kaffe och spel att låna. Nära till skidbussen och gång avstånd från skidbacken som gick ner till byn. Enda negativa var att det var avgift att parkera bilen på grusparkeringen även om man var gäst. 」
