This is a ski resort,but we were there in June. Nice rooms,excellent restaurant and very easy parking! Not much around the hotel itself,but it had a lot of activities. Pretty much halfway between Bergen and Oslo if you are driving.

Vestlia was amazing! The amenities, spa, saunas, cold plunge YESSSS! The burger is to die for! The staff was extremely helpful and personable! The room was spacious. Lots to do even in the off season. I will definitely visit again.

Generally, excellent, but bar prices excessive.

Generally, excellent. Spacious accommodation, great service, unbeatable location, but whilst prices are expected to be higher due to the level of comfort/service, bar prices are excessive and bar food quality is not as good as on previous visits.

This is an amazing family resort. The hotel has tons of activities, from an infinity pool to water slide, a sizeable gym, bowling alley (cost extra), movie theater, and billiards room. The room was clean and comfortable size with bunk beds for the kids. The hotel is on a ski resort and in the summer it serves as a downhill mountain bike trail, and comprehensive above ground adventure park with lots of courses from easy to very difficult. There is also a lot of activities outside the resort such as hiking and horseback riding through the mountains. The resort has a great buffet and does offer dinner. We ate dinner there once, but the menu didn’t change so we went into town the second night and found an excellent restaurant to get more variety. We highly recommend this resort for any active family traveling in Norway

Good, not great.

Very fine common facilities. Loved the spacious bar area. The rooms and the facilities there were spartan. No water boiler or coffee maker. Not even glasses for water or wine. Few towels, no extra pillows. Very noisy from neighboring rooms, so poorly isolated. Great breakfast. At least the items that were hot when they were supposed to. Pricey when we booked. Friends of us who booked the next day got less than half the price. So hold your horses when booking. Do last minute.

Everyone was helpful and friendly. The breakfast was very good. We had to check out in the middle of the night to catch a 2:30 AM train. In my hast pack to catch our cab, I managed to leave my laptop in my room. I’ve messaged the hotel several times through the Booking app, trying to arrange to have it sent to me (at my expense, of course) but after almost two weeks, I still haven’t received a reply!

The room itself was nice. However, it had a door connected to another room which the staff had left unlocked. At 1 am during our stay the person next door walked into our room!! The staff apologized, but leaving the doors unlocked between the rooms is a HUGE safety and security issue. So, it was overall a disappointing stay.

I was here in the off season - September- so, the outdoor activities and benefits were not part of my stay. I did not realize the spa hours would be minimal for my stay, and dining was also all reserved for the evening stayed, so that is my reasoning for amenities not being great. Otherwise, staff was very friendly and a beautiful hotel and location. It is a cab ride from the train station and/ or I would call the resort next time to come and pick up, if that is an option.
