「Island Leisure Resort is a great place to stay when visiting Maggie! No fuss, clean and tidy apartments with everything you need for a relaxing holiday. The pool is wonderful, my son loved the games room and the staff are so friendly and helped out with all my questions. There are places to eat nearby, however I would recommend booking in advance to ensure a spot. The Foodworks is overpriced and not great quality, grab your supplies at the Ferry Terminal's IGA if you can. Overall, a lovely place...

「Great appartment, in a good position with amazing views, and everything you could need. Very quiet and relaxing. Enjoyed sitting on the balcony and watching the wallabies below who visit each evening. Would recommend to others, and would stay here again.」

「Great place to stay! Amazing views and conveniently located to everything. The only small thing was the level of cleanliness of the apartment. The linen was all clean but there were crumbs on the sink and dining table and the carpet needed a vacuum. In saying this though I would definitely return, the overall experience was fantastic!」

「One of the friendliest welcomes we have had for a long time. Great location, very reasonably priced, close to the heart of Townsville. Secure, safe, VERY comfortable beds - fantastic value for money and would be my choice to stay when next in Townsville!」
