"We were very disappointed after we got home and saw our card was charged about $40. When I called I was told it was a hotel tax. When I book through Expedia I assume it’s a One stop shop to book trips and pay what I owe at time of booking, not have a surprise charge for something made up. You work hard to try and afford a trip and then get charged more money. Expedia contacted them to try and remedy and they said to agent, it was for WiFi, CHAIRS, TOWELS! What does that even mean?! We were there one night in May, no chairs were used or towels, we didn’t even use the shower! Needless to say, that was our last time at this place. BEWARE OF EXTRA weird charges."

"Pretty typical refurbished motel in a beach town. One block away from beach - five minute walk to get coffee or grab and go type food. Hot water in shower was a bit erratic, as was the wifi."

"I really like staying here in a one-bedroom apartment with a kitchen and frig and microwave, so I can buy groceries and do my own cooking in the room. A big space for a reasonable price. Very clean property, well-maintained, and you only have to cross the street and you're on the beach, which is a BIG PLUS!"

"It was less than 50° outside, and the heat was not working in our unit. The maintenance person came and showed us how to use the remote and at that point I said that I think the upstairs unit is not working, which is what was keeping the heat from turning on however he assured me that it was working. In order to give the benefit of the doubt I thought maybe it just needed a little bit of time to warm up- we left and came back after dinner. The room was still freezing. We tried calling after hours maintenance to come. We left a few messages and no one came - in the morning We also called the emergency phone number again. No one came. They eventually did change our room however we’ve been trying to reach them because we feel a partial refund is warranted and we have not been able to get in touch with anybody. This is just really unacceptable."
