Mormon village and Halloween festivities were very nice. Dining options are quite limited.




There are shops nearby. We were there during the off-season so most shops closed at 4 or 5. The room was clean, the bed and pillows super comfortable. The room also had a microwave and a fridge. That was awesome for leftovers and early- morning breakfasts. The only concern was the hot water didn't ...

Plan extra time to see all of Nauvoo! You'll not be board with 2 or 3 days. Dinner is only offered at the Nauvoo Hotel & lunch is not offered on Monday's at Grandpa John's Cafe, but it's nice for breakfast, lunch & ice cream.
Town is a bit run down. Not much food services or lodging.
Loved the church history and rich heritage/background of the area. Even if you’re not religious, this area played a key role in Pioneer expansion to early Western United States. Lovely area!
