「I had thought I was booked to stay the Nauvoo Temple House Hotel, but not knowing how things were set up, I ended up staying in the basement of what used to be the old ZCMI store. That was probably due to me asking the staff (on the phone) if there were any stairs, since I'm handicapped. It didn't have any steps; it's a basement. 「The evening walk beneath the stars to the lit up temple was magnificent and unforgettable. The history literature and artifacts throughout the home created the perfect backdrop for our Nauvoo experience.」
