「We appreciated the helpful and smiling staff, they gave us access to our room to drop off our suitcases so we could walk around Taormina, to have some peace make sure you stay on the upper floor as the walls and the ceiling is made of paper, it's difficult to sleep without being woken up by every noise!」

「The beds were very comfortable. The rooms were clean, but the natural gas smell was awful. It smelled like natural gas outside the room and it seeped into the room giving me a headache. We brought it to the attention of the hotel, but they said that was normal, no danger to us. We asked if we could get the fan turned on to remove the smell from our room, but they said they couldn’t until April 1st…will not be returning to this property 」

「I would definitely come here again. The owners/staff were wonderful and attentive. Breakfast was fresh and plentiful and with a great seaview. It is a short walk to the piazzas, restos and shopping. The parking fee is worth it since there is nowhere to park in the city unless you are a resident. Once we arrived, we did not use our rental car again until it was time to leave. If you are going to Taormina, I highly recommend this charming, very personal hotel. Seeing Mt. Etna was a treat. 」

「A grand hotel in a great location. Interior slightly sparse and dated but clean and mostly functional. Only meaningful complaint is WiFi in the rooms is non-existant - works fine in the lobby, but not at all in the room. Very inconvenient. Breakfast buffet is excellent. The lower gardens are beautiful, well-maintained, have spectacular views and relaxing - absolutely do not miss them! 」
