"The Sheraton is a wonderful place to stay in Addis Ababa. The staff is world-class in terms of friendliness and professionalism. The amenities are great. The spa and jacuzzi are segregated by gender but that's the only disappointing feature, as my wife and I wanted a couple's spa treatment or at least to share jacuzzi time together. The location is in the heart of the city yet isolated and separate, as the property is large and lush, an oasis amongst city life. The rooms and restaurants are also really good."

"I’ve stayed here several times for more than a week at a time over the years because I need to be in this particular area. This is not a fancy hotel, but for the price, it is great. The rooms are as pictured in the photos. Simple, but always clean and the staff are extremely nice. As with much of Addis, the area around it is changing/developing dramatically. If you need to be in the Arada or Amist Kilo area, I’d stay here."

"Staff is amazing! They upgraded me to better room, brought hot water and tea when my daughter wasn’t feeling well and responded to all of our needs. More importantly, they stored our luggage when we went to Kenya and when we returned they kindly brought the tb the airport and waited because security wouldn’t allow to go out and get it. We had to fly to London without it and rhey are kindly holding it while I get it shipped. Very good communication and so helpful!"
