To Infinity and Beyond!

Standing inside Yayoi Kusama’s Infinity Mirrored Room, Gleaming Lights of the Souls was both a chilling and awe-inspiring experience. This installation along with the rest of the eccentric artists’ artworks did not disappoint.

Kusama's infinity mirror rooms transform the repetitive approach of her net and dot paintings into an immersive sensory experience. Ranging in format from small peep boxes to room-scale installations, these kaledoscopic environments invite contemplation in an infinitely repeating, expanded space.

There’s always something to see at the National Gallery Singapore - a visual arts institution which oversees the largest public collection of modern art in Singapore and Southeast Asia. Located in the heart of the Civic District, the Gallery is housed in two national monuments - City Hall and former Supreme Court - that have been beautifully restored and transformed into an exciting and grammable venue.
