「Our host, who doesn't live in the house, gave us free run of the place since no one else had rented the other bedroom. The place was comfortable but not updated. Our host was very pleasant and accommodating and we enjoyed visiting with her. She provided us with a nice breakfast using eggs from her own hens.」

「The owner of the house, Colleen was like an angel. My grandmother lived in the same neighborhood as Sunnyside and I had no idea and I know she would be happy that I ended up in the Hands of such a beautiful soul. She cooks like an amazing southern chef and is so hospitable. She has two very friendly and beautiful dogs and makes you feel right at home. I came for a family reunion and I think I added to the family! My husband and I are extremely happy and we can’t wait to come back!」

「We reserved a King Room with River View through Expedia and upon arrival was informed that there were no River View rooms available. The front desk clerk told us to always call the hotel direct when booking through a third party. We had checked the hotel's website and the River View rooms were available, so we booked. We did accept a City View room with 2 Queen beds. Once in the room quickly discovered the room had recently been smoked in. We can accept the disappointment of not having a room...

「The place was clean, the hotel overall well kept. The remodeling has been done poorly as even our shower door did not close and you can se some mediocre touches. The pool was not operating and the water was cloudy and the area looked worn out. Yet, the STAFF WAS SUPER FRIENDLY, kind and willing to help. That was the biggest highlight. Definitely the property itself is still under improvement」
