I am writing to share my concerns regarding my recent stay at Comfort Suites Paradise Island. Unfortunately, the building does not appear to be adequately accommodating for guests with physical disabilities or mobility limitations. For a hotel of this size, having only one elevator is extremely concerning. I personally have knee issues, and the excessive amount of walking and stair use made moving around the property very difficult and uncomfortable. The distance from the front desk to the rooms is quite long, and the elevator is not only far back in the building but also difficult to locate. What is even more troubling is the potential safety risk. In the event of an emergency, I am deeply concerned about how guests with physical disabilities or limited mobility would be expected to exit the building quickly and safely with only one elevator available. I also observed that even guests without physical disabilities were expressing frustration about the long walking distances and the inconvenient elevator placement. This suggests a broader design issue that affects many visitors, not just those with mobility challenges. I believe the building layout should be seriously re-evaluated to better accommodate guests of all ages and physical abilities. Sadly, due to this experience, I was very disappointed with my stay and will not be returning. However, the staff was excellent and the property was immaculate.

The staff made my stay perfect! Front Desk Staff on Saturday morning, Laverne and Andriainiqe (wrong spelling), Parking Lot Security David is 100% a plus for this property. David should be one of the first persons anyone see when they arrive. The evening of check in was a little much when I realized there was no valet, bellman or staff to assist with my luggage and at first, the parking lot looked far away (due to medical issues my right side is disabled which I don't show as much as possible) and there was an issue as Front Desk Linda or Lindy made me feel horrible when she could not find my paid reservation, saying loud enough for others to hear that she could not confirm me unless I paid about $1500 at the time. It was embarrassing trying to advise and show her my bank account where I had completely paid for my reservation. I had to sit down trying to access the WIFI for service which took me so long. It was a cold start but, I was able to attend the funeral and other business matters during my stay. The breakfast staff and housekeeping were really great. In fact, several of my family members ended up booking additional rooms so, it was a good stay. I was about to book Atlantis on Friday but, I was able to settled down after meeting the Saturday morning Front Desk Staff Laverne and Andriainiqe (wrong spelling), both are beautiful and quality to be Miss Bahamas. Thanks so much David, Laverne and Andriainiqe and all that showed empathy and respect during my stay. Thanks!!!

The rooms are old. The sliding door did not lock and had to be fixed. The safe did not work. The air conditioner was loud. The shower/tub was old and needed a good scrubbing. The phone did not work. The hallway outside our room smelled of pot for two full days. The free buffet breakfast was adequate. The bed was very comfortable .The staff was friendly and very helpful when I needed help.

No frills smart option for families! 5 min walk to Marina, 13 to royal lobby, 20 to dolphin cay even with a stroller. Breakfast was pretty good - loved the corned beef hash. Perfect to start the day with kiddos Crusoes is less expensive than resort dining and honestly the food was amazing - especially conch fritters and even the chicken ceasar. Mojito was refreshing after a day of oversweetened tumbler drinks Non crowded pool with swim up bar was a nice bonus Staff was talkative and my toddler absolutely loved saying hello to everyone Housekeeping was friendly and attentive. There were a couple of days where the timing didn’t work out because we have little kids and we’re coming back to the room late afternoon right when they are getting to us, but they still made sure that we had towels and enough water. After previously staying at the other hotels in Atlantis I was worried about booking this one but I would do it again. Well maintained grounds and honestly the rooms were less problematic noise / humidity wise than the Coral.

Beds were comfortable, room all together not thay great, no water pressure, balcony door, very hard to open. I would say only 40% of staff her friendly. Expedia offered a total of $150USD food credit, and it took over an hoir to sort it out with the manager because they did not want to honor it. The houee keeping lady at the front very rude. And at the bar, they were not nice wither, Expedia gave us a voucher for 4 free drinks and once they seen I had that coupon thwir attitude changed like they were not interest in taking my order. The day pass to Atlantis was a plus. The breakfast area was not very clean, and took awhile to restock items when finished. Also birds flying everywhere, right on the table you are eating at. And the stairs/hallways had a very unpleasant smell.
