No one was actually on the property. We arrived about 30 minutes before check in time and couldn’t get in to the room because everything was contactless. Prior to that the sent me at least 5 messages in succession asking for data they already had access to through Expedia (ie which room I was staying in, email address, what days I’d be staying). They then tried to send an email offering “early check in” for $15/hour. Insane. If the room is ready guests should be able to access it.
I wouldn’t have booked this place had I known they were so aggressively anti contact and anti customer service. Disclosures about how they actually operate (it’s a guest house and no one is on the property and if you arrive even 30 minutes early, too bad, no room access for you…) would have been appropriate
