Hôtel un peu dans son jus. Le système de clef est un peu vieillissant (j'ai dû remagnétiser ma carte à 2 reprises sur les 3 nuits passées). L'isolation sonore est limite, ce qui rend la proximité de la gare de Nancy difficile à supporter en soirée.

Pas de volet donc beaucoup de lumière (de la ville puis du jour..) empêchant un bon sommeil. (Chambre avec trois fenêtres..) absence de double vitrage: isolation phonique a revoir. Baignoire glissante, dangereux pour prendre une simple douche. Propre et confortable sinon.

Practical place to stay with all the basics

This hotel is very centrally located and practical but not special. On one side of the block, there were drunk/high people hanging out with some others who were loitering in groups during the day. The other side has some fun bistros that are active at night. The hotel is pretty clean overall with contemporary, simple white interiors with light wood accents with very friendly front desk service and a more than adequate breakfast spread for an additional cost. Breakfast included not only croissants & nice breads but eggs, cheese, meat and more. Rooms were a good size and had comfortable beds. If you expect to have a stay with charm in this architecturally interesting city, this is not it but it has the basics for a practical place to stay.

By far the worst place you could go

The gentleman at the desk refused to allow me in the hotel suspecting me to be a bandit. I had to scream from behind the glass door outside while it was pouring rain that I do have a reservation and show my passport for him to allow me in and things just got worst from there.

Un hôtel bien situé mais décevant

Devant passer une nuit à Nancy, j’ai choisi cet hôtel qui est idéalement placé, juste en face de la gare (nous sommes arrivés en train). Nous avons apprécié le calme de la chambre ainsi que la qualité du lit. Nous avons cependant été surpris d’avoir eu une chambre pour personne handicapée, alors que nous avons pas fait une telle demande. Nous avons été déçus par la salle de bain, plutôt vétuste, ressemblant plus à une chambre d’hôpital qu’à une chambre d’hôtel. La douche n’était vraiment pas confortable (rideau en plastique, simple petit pommeau, vieux tapis en plastique). La chambre, certes assez spacieuse n’était pas très confortable : deux chaises peu confortables pour tout mobilier. Le petit déjeuner est très moyen : pain caoutchouteux, viennoiseries molles. Café très moyen. Cela fait 25 ans que je fréquente occasionnellement des hôtels Ibis, et il faut bien avouer que la qualité de ces hôtels a progressivement baissé au fil du temps, à tout point de vue. Cet établissement ne mérite objectivement pas ses trois étoiles.
