「This is a beautiful luxury resort with all the amenities and it has a super friendly atmosphere. The spa experience is top notch and the therapists are excellent. There were some areas that were not open and under renovation during our stay. There were also a few restaurants that were closed which made the selection limited. Still, the accommodations are beautiful and the 2200 acres spectacular. A lot to see and do so if you are alone or traveling with kids there are plenty of activities.」

「Truly a historic building with a warm and cozy atmosphere. Staff is very friendly. Indoor pool is large and clean. Outdoor pool was not open yet but looks wonderful. The view of Union City in the valley below was so pretty. We were upgraded from a standard queen room to a king, which was a pleasant surprise.
Lobby has a large fireplace and great staircase. We enjoyed playing a couple of games of chess there, accompanied by a drink from the bar.
Hotel is older and may lack a few things but...

「Our room was very nice, with great lighting for reading in bed. The room was clean and comfy, with a window seat that doubled as a suitcase rest. Wish the soap had been bigger. The staff was nice.」
