This place was condemned! Literally condemned! How in the world did Expedia send us to a place that's condemned and allow us to be in that situation? I'll never book through Expedia again. And stay away from Coral Sands! It's been condemned and the owner is still trying to rent rooms! Thank God we found another place in booking. Com!

I just booked for one night but didn,t stay in the room last night! After checking in , I immediatetly left out to bisit my Army buddy i hadn,t seen since the 80,s. I went to visit him for 2 hours then got something to eat before returning to the hotel! The room was uneceptable! The toliet was old and dingy, the room smelled terrible and meldewed! The sliding door to the balcony wouldn,t open! One towel! The tv was old with distortion! I decided that it would just be better to return home!It,s a three hour drive and i made it home before midight!I request my credit card be refunded

Hated our experience

We didn’t even stay at the hotel.. we stayed at a hotel down the road but still had to park at the original hotel and walk with all of our baggage down the road. We had to check into the original hotel then walk to other one then wait for him to walk back to original hotel and back to other hotel to give us key. The pool and parking lot and stairway.. everywhere.. was covered in trash. Our door to our room had a space in the doorway that you could see through. The walls were warped all over. There’s was trash under the beds. The balcony had broken chairs on it. The fridge had somebody’s food in it. The ac leaked so the bed closest to it and the floor was soaking wet. Dried up shampoo in the tub. Sand covering the bottom of the tub. It was just awful. Disgusting. Unpleasant. People were outside yelling and banging around till 4am. The entire experience was awful and paying like $150 for THAT..they were literally stealing from us.

Coral Sands/ Sea Gypsy

The property manager is attempting to correct some the past “ills” of the motel. That at least says something. However, the entire property is in disrepair. The good things : Nice oceanfront view from the room-I was put up at the Sea Gypsy, not the Coral Samds. Beds had clean linen-pillows also. Bed spread also clean. Refrigerator worked-microwave worked. The bad: No hot water No pool Entire room needs remodel/upgrade Bottom line-you get what you pay for. I wish the place good luck!

Don't walk, RUN away from this place.

Upon check-in did not have a room assigned because attendant did not see my reservation earlier that day when checking. Offered to put us into an ocean front across the street at Sea Gyspy (I guess they operate both?). Stove eyes scattered on sidewalks Door broken into several times Cabinet doors hanging from one hinge Burn holes in bedspread, one sheet, both dirty "Party Juice" stains in bathtub (eww) Toilet was FULL of feces. Nope, uh-uh, no way!

I got to the property at 5 o'clock p.m. on Saturday the 17th of 2021 and the office was closed, The Room was prepaid through Expedia, I waited over an hour nobody showed up.

The man in the front dedk never opened the doors the place eere closed.but there were people inside. We drove 3 hrs to get to the hotel and ee could not stay there. But the place looks creepy. Qe had to pay another place to sleep because Places in myrtle beach were totally booked. It has been one of the eorst experiences ever. Not recomended. I want my money back

Beautiful location, beautiful view of ocean from balcony, very clean and neat, loved that it included a parking garage. The only minor things I wish they had but didn’t due to COVID, was breakfast and housekeeping during our stay. Aside from that, I’d stay there again and would recommend it to anyone looking for an affordable and luxury hotel to vacation at.

Horrible Nasty Place Unsafe and infested

Roaches all over Didn’t even scurry when lights turned on reaked of urine in stairwell as well as visible puddle of urine...very trashy and run down door to balcony had no locks... Lit 2 bug bombs before even taking in luggage came back that night with roaches alive all over bed and walls is how infested it was...opened door saw all the roaches that night turned around walked out and stayed in a different hotel.. Was willing to eat the money for that night since couldn’t get a refund I have never just refused to stay anywhere before is how nasty it was paid 100 there non refundable and then 200 at another hotel at midnight just to sleep a few hours

Find another hotel

There were bugs crawling around in the room luckily the staff was nice enough to set us up in a different room that wasn’t any better. The rooms were not stocked with towels or toilet paper and everything was just in shambles. The air conditioning didn’t really work and it was really over priced for what you got out of it.
