「This hotel is stunning. The views of the lake, the food, the decor; the spa! I wish we had had more time to just relax there!!」

「The Serena Hotel in Lake Kivu was lovely. We had a great room with a lake view. Since we traveled with a guide we did not use any of the extra guest services but we did take a boat ride out to the Nyamyumbo hot springs which was quite an experience. The opposite of a hotel spa! Staff were very pleasant and accommodating. I would recommend this hotel!」

「The setting of the hotel is superb – nice beach (the water has great mineral quality to it), different walks at the door step (Congo-Nile trail or lakeside paths, coffee washing station nearby is great to visit). The food is excellent (from the local vegetable and fruit garden) and rooms are spacious and well-maintained. The downsides are 11 km of dirt track in poor condition (allow extra 10-15 min relative to google maps estimate) and rooms can be too warm at night (24C at night, no aircon) 」

「Le staff n'était pas d'une grande aide. Le petit-déjeuner n'était pas compris pour les 2 personnes de la chambre et la qualité laissait à désirer. Impossible de manger dans le jardin avec tous les animaux. Pas de vue sur le lac comme cela semble être indiqué. Je recommanderais uniquement cet endroit si vous souhaitez juste un endroit pour dormir, sans plus.」

「i was not given a room that rooms were fully booked and no contact from Exoedia or Hotel.com on my booking. i need my money refunded by Expedia and Wonder why Expedia should cause this i travelled for 5 hours to be denied accommodation which hotel said they don't have any agreement with Expedia to market their hotel Very Disappointing」
