Kichijoji now has many duty free shops. Great walkable town with many options for dining and shopping. There are many ramen shops.

Room was spotless and staff are courteous. The space was a bit tight for three big luggay and a carryon. Overall, it was a great place to stay if you don’t travel too much to other part of Tokyo. We enjoyed our stay at Koko hotel Residence. As the name implies we found everything we needed in the kitchenette. Wonderful jazz clubs and fun restaurants--fun neighborhood!
It is much quiet than the centeral part of Tokyo, but Kichijoji has lots of small restaurants and shops, reasonable, unique, and enjoyable to visit.
Nice city. Big city but lot of parks and natures still there. I like Musashino.
The park is beautiful and peaceful. Great area to spend a week exploring.
