"Do not recommend if you want to sleep. No insulation or soundproofing. You can hear every single EVERY single thing the neighbouring rooms are doing. Not to get into too much detail but I could hear them all breathing and more…. Utterly over priced. All I wanted was somewhere to sleep soundly. 0/10 I think people giving more favourable reviews may be visiting in quiet season on lower nightly rates and no neighbours."

"The best stay of our trip. Such a great place and everyone was helpful and made everything easy. The Sunday night dinner and live music was the best meal I can remember. We’ll be booking in the next time we’re at Thredbo!"

"Stayed here with my son for a trip to hike the summit and had a fantastic experience. The staff were incredibly welcoming and went above and beyond, even allowing us a late checkout so we could complete our hike after bad weather the day before. Breakfast was amazing!! Great views and a stone throw away from the village. Perfect location and excellent service—would definitely stay again."

"It was raining hard and snow on the alps so very beautiful scenery. The stars at reception and in restaurant were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was excellent. Fresh fruit, nuts, cereal, cooked breakfast, pastries, hot drinks. I could go on. I’m sure in-season the place will be buzzing and amenities open so will Come back. "

"The hotel is an old one that needs some maintenance and updating. Rooms are small and as others have mentioned one can hear complete conversations of your neighbors. On the plus side, the staff were friendly, and helpful, the food was great and it is located within walking distance to the Summit and Main Range trek. It is the only hotel open in the summer season in Charlotte Pass. All in all I would stay again. "
