Hotel was very well maintained, the staff were super friendly and helpful. Only thing I would say is that the A/C is not what we are used to in the US. It's cool, but not cold. Location to subway is very convenient to go to a lot of great spots.

I was given a room where the light switch was stuck on, there only solution wants to change rooms at 1am in the morning, nothing more than apology offered, the second room I was given, the seal in the bottom of the shower was missing meaning the whole bathroom flooded when I showered in the morning. My business partner who I was travelling with accidentally booked two rooms, they demanded full payment for both, just a very poor service all around. Definitely would not stay here again

We stayed here one night while waiting for an overnight flight the following night. Bed was so comfortable and amazing shower. It was super easy to get to the center of Munich with bus, tram or subway options only 25 mins. They also stored our luggage while we were out for the day.

When we arrived and realized the hotel was not near anything, and that the hotel was built in 1972 I tried to cancel the last 2 nights. Not possible. When I tried to get a late check out, also nien. For the record, Expedia approved my request to cancel the last 2 nights of a 3 day stay. When I say the hotel is outdated, I thought the glass tube that was in the bathroom was a time machine, not realizing it was a telephone booth sized shower. Also, this was a Club level, premium King. The rooftop lounge was suitable for a Holiday Inn. The “spa” was dingy, and devoid of amenities. The breakfast buffet was good, the bartender in the lobby was good, and the overworked staff did their best. The real issue is Westin. Why update their facilities when they can charge premium prices for a hotel that should have been updated decades ago.
