I got this hotel because Expedia said the hotel had a bar. When we showed up we found out the bar wasn’t open on Monday and Tuesday. Then on Wednesday we found out the bar doesn’t open until 5pm. I’m not sure who comes to a foreign country and doesn’t have dinner planned outside of their hotel. Honestly I’ve only ever done lunch and breakfas. anyway…that would be fine but the hotels “bar” (I.e selective sponsored beer and wine only) is only open for those hours as well. Disappointed. Also there is no lunch service. So if you do sleep in and miss breakfast oh well! Also there’s really no front desk service. You come in and have to sign in via a tablet that can’t input UK postal codes. There’s absolutely no human interaction. If you have questions? Pick up the phone and hope someone answers!

Great staff but room was small

The Hotel staff are great however our room was a little awkward with the bed wedged in a corner with a slanted wall. The electrical switches were confusing, had to try so many combinations of turning on and off switches to make certain outlets work.

Beautiful hotel, clean and updated. Nice restaurant and beer garden onsite, other bars, restaurants and bakery conveniently located with a short walk. Onsite parking available for a reasonable rate, as well as convenient public transportation options.

Das Zimmer war nicht klimatisiert und dadurch sehr heiß. Die Rezeption ist nur zu bestimmten Zeiten besetzt. Ab 8:30 klopfte der Zimmerservice mehrfach und recht nachdrücklich, um das Zimmer zu reinigen. Insgesamt handelt es sich um ein liebevoll eingerichtetes Hotel, allerdings mit einigen deutlichen Nachteilen. Für mich stimmt das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis leider nicht – ich würde das Hotel daher nicht noch einmal buchen.

Wunderschöne aber etwas kleine Zimmer mit toller Ausstattung. Gutes bayrisches Restaurant direkt im Erdgeschoss. Gute Lage, die Isar, der Nockherberg, das Deutsche Museum und das Müllersche Volksbad sind jeweils in 5-10 Minuten fußläufig zu erreichen, der Marienplatz in etwa 15 Minuten. Leider funktionierte der Self-Check-In bei uns erst beim zweiten Mal, ein Gast aus Frankreich, der mit einer größeren Gruppe kam konnte sich gar nicht einchecken.

A smaller hotel a little further away from the city centre. We loved it! All staff were excellent. the restaurant food was delicious. Restaurant staff were friendly, great to talk to, helpful and friendly. Thank you for a great stay! The cream and fruit dessert and rhubarb crumble were amazing!

Tres agreable et confortable

Toujours aussi agreable que de sejounrer dans cet établissement, bien équipé, propre et confortable. Le personnel tres courtois et attentionné, le restaurant et petit dejeuner tres, mention speciale pour Sophie, aux petits soins pour les clients ! Proche centre a pied ou en bus.

The place is very quaint with a nice beer garden but the room was quite small. The bed was comfortable and quiet. Not sure about the tin mugs as they get too hot to hold!

Loved staying away from the hustle and bustle! But we were at least a 12 minute walk from the train station with our luggage. There were closer trams and buses. It was near a park and not far from the English Garten. Our room was on the top floor that had a very sloped roof over the bed. A little tricky to get in and out. No English TV channels, which was fine but may be an issue for others. A restaurant right on property had a good selection of Munich fare but closed 2 nights during our stay. We had no heat or hot water the first 6 hours of our stay but the staff was super friendly and accommodating and compensated us. All in all a decent stay and good value for 3 nights.
