Alter Wirt is a charming boutique-size hotel in Galdach, a rural town near Munich Airport. It is modern, clean, and well-run by exceptionally friendly and helpful staff and offers a wonderful, fresh breakfast for those in a hurry. My family has stayed there on numerous occasions in the 30 years since it opened and it remains an easy recommendation for a good place to stay close by the Munich Airport for early morning flights.

We stayed at this Hotel overnight between flights to and from Munich International Airport (MUC). The property is only 12km from the airport making it very convenient.
