Friendly helpful staff, very clean hotel, not far from the train station and city centre. Although the immediate area around the hotel was a bit rundown it's only for a block or so and we never had any issues. Definitely worked for us for a layover. The room was great for our family of four. The beds are basically two twin beds pushed together, equating to about the size of a king sized bed. The shower water temperature and pressure were amazing. The only thing that caught us by surprise was that the room did not have AC. It was not very hot in Munich while we were there so it ended up okay with the fans that are provided. We requested an additional fan and it was brought up within 10 minutes of the request and helped so much. The breakfast was a great traditional European continental breakfast. The hotel is within 5 minutes of the train station and about a 15 min walk from the main square. There are tons of restaurants and beer gardens in walking distance. The only downside is that you have to walk through a bit of an interesting part of town (pawn shops, couple of strip clubs, etc) which felt a bit strange with our teenage boys. Overall, I’d stay again.

We had a great stay at this hotel. We are a family of 6 and our room was big enough for all of us and our bags. The hotel is about 10 minutes walk to Munich main train station and about 15 minutes walk to MarienPlatz. Lots of eating options around the hotel. I would stay there again!
