「The staff were so helpful and nothing was too much trouble 」

「This was our 3rd stay at St John's Lodge and yet again it did not disappoint. Great location, great room (which was upgraded when we arrived, a welcome surprise), great breakfast and amazing service from the Hosts Rich & Ada. Having free access to the Local health club and spa is another fantastic bonus, popping in after a hike to utilise the jacuzzi is great! We couldn't ask for more from St John's Lodge, Rich and Ada are excellent hosts and couldn't do more for us. We hope to return again...

「Mainly stayed for Keswick Convention. Walkable distance from Base Camp and Main Tent at Skiddaw Street. It's quiet and near a scenic view from a river nearby. The lawn of the Hotel brings rabbits and relaxing atmosphere to guests. Friendly staff and great self-served breakfast. A good balance of price and service. Will definitely visit again.」

「Wonderful place! The car parking is free, the room is clean and comfort, and the breakfast is really good. Only 10 minutes walk to the lake and 20 minutes walk to Windermere town center. I definitely want to be there again.」

「A really nice B&B. Very comfortable and welcoming. The owner, Vickie was very helpful and friendly. Unusually for hotels, it has Sky tv in the room which was a nice bonus. We'd definitely say here again. Highly recommended. 」

「I stayed for a couple of nights at the brilliant Troutbeck Inn during a brief trip south. A first time visit to a welcoming inn which now feels like a home from home, and I very much look forward to returning with a bit more time in hand.」

「It's a cozy place to escape from the big city. While we walk into the hotel, we received warm welcome right away. The people at front desk are very friendly and nice. Their breakfast are great. First night I found my bed mattress got problem, after I told them, they changed it right away. Not far away from Station (about 10 minutes walk), but it's located at a quite nice area. We are really enjoy staying there.」
