A small gem near Borobudur

Loved this place. it's got lovely restaurant offering some pretty tasty food, nice pool, proximity to Borobudur, very friendly, welcome service, and an overall charm and beauty. I only stayed one night but would be happy to return and stay a couple more.

Great hotel, service and serenity!

The service was faultless, with smiling, friendly and helpful staff. The rooms were spacious and locally styled to a high standard. Large pool, with loungers and tables. Food in the restaurant was very good.

Amata is a beautiful, natural haven In bustling town. Surrounded by bamboo and nestled next to the river it is a real getaway. The grounds are gorgeous with orchids growing on the sides of the trees. The pool was a delight. The food in the restaurant was amazing and the breakfast was the best I’ve ever had. The service was outstanding all around. Proximity to Borobodur is a real selling point with easy access to drivers to get you there. Wish we were staying another night!

A cozy & exclusive resort hotel, staff are very friendly, spa massage is also very good. I like the environment & the design of the kampong style bungalow hotel. Free shuttle to Candi Borobudur in early morning. Very surprise that they can arrange one of the staff to bring me to walk around the surrounding ie, paddy field & the kampong in the morning for a walk instead of cycling.

Beautiful hotel, beautiful staff

Spent an amazing two days at this hotel. The service was perfection and everyone from concierge to drivers to waitresses to landscaper made our visit pleasant. The room was comfortable and loved the plants in the shower. The pool was refreshing. The hotel arranged a free shuttle for Borobudur sunrise which made it super convenient. The restaurant had many local and international options.

Perfect in every way - Worth spending more time

This hotel was the perfect place to relax and recharge while visiting Borobudur! I didn't want to leave. I could have easily spend several days relaxing in the very awesome rooms and eating the amazing food they prepare at the hotel restaurant. I don't know if I will ever return to Borobudur, but if I do this is where I will stay :-)

Hotel was ok. Mobile phone was stolen outside of hotel, in a taxi. Would have been great to see more support/ engagement to help me and my girlfriend, by hotel staff as communication in English is not an option with locals (taxi drivers etc).

A nice short family break

It's a nice place for a short family break. We gathered our family of 18 members, just for one night. They organized a nice barbeque dinner and provided bikes for early morning cycling at the surpunding village with nice rice field and mountain view.

Great choice for Borobudur area

Price very reasonable and the room was very cozy. Nice pool and we enjoyed the restaurant. So it was a great place to stay one night before we visited Borobudur and Prambalan the following day. The staff very friendly and helpful.

数千匹の虫がベットや床に一面。絶対におすすめしません。

このサイトと別のサイトで2部屋予約し、3人で宿泊しました。別のサイトで予約した部屋を、夕飯のために出て戻ると、ベットや床に虫が数百匹落ちてきていた。フロントに行くが、スタッフはワーカーを除いて帰宅していて、仕方なくこちらのサイトの部屋に3人で泊まった。クリーニングをしてもらっても、必ず落ちてくると思ったからだ。次の日部屋へいくと、数百が数千にも増えて、床に虫が落ちていた。フロントに行って事情を説明し、返金を求めたが、オーナーに問い合わせた結果、返金できないとのこと。
