「We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. It was in a beautiful location. Our room was clean, and had everything we needed for our stay. It is well located, within walking distance to a main line station, bus network as well as a narrow gauge railway. There are also electric car charging facilities at a nearby car park. The food was good and all the staff were helpful and friendly.」

「I admittedly arrived at a busy time and The Bear was reportedly chronically short of staff. Whilst the room and its cleanliness was excellent, the human side was somewhat chaotic. 「A lovely rural hotel set in beautiful scenery with gorgeous views and a high standard of cleanliness. The staff are fantastic, especially Lee who was attentive to your breakfast needs and was always so warm and friendly. He also gave us lots of recommendations of what to do and where to go.
