「I feel like when a customer decides to extend there room, it is the responsibility of the staff to advise of the room charge increase verses a customer finding out when it is time to checkout and we think we are still paying the original rate but when no one says your daily rate is increasing significantly. Guests would assume the rste is still the same as when they checked. I was surprised with significant price hikes and was not made available at time of extension. 」

「Lobby was modern and beautiful. Room was musty smelling, early 1990s decor, tiniest bathroom ever, and mattress was a rock. Hotel staff very friendly and clean hotel. However, very overpriced for the quality.」

「We needed a place to stay close to the fairgrounds. The hotel was situated so we had an easy walk. The room seemed updated and the bed was comfortable. The outside stairs were at a slant as well as the walkway to our room. One major drawback was the traffic noise. I like background noise when I sleep so I was able to not be bothered except for the occasional ambulance. If you want a quiet room, don’t stay here」

「Skip and Jane were wonderful hosts! Everything you would expect from a Victorian home bed and breakfast. Lost of history to see and enjoy. The yard and gardens were well groomed, the rooms were very clean. There happened to be a major heat wave when we were visiting and they brought a portable AC unit to our room on the 3rd floor to make sure we were comfortable. Breakfast was beautiful and delicious as well. They were very kind to ask about allergies, sensitivities or diet preferences...

「I wish I could live here!!! Truly the most beautiful home and such gracious hosts. The massive native garden in the front yard is so pretty to look at and there are even more lovely plants inside. The hosts have thought of, and provide, quite literally everything you might need (toiletries, towels, water) and then some—a delightful coffee bar with all sorts of breakfast items!
