"This hostel was great with an equally great price. At the highest point on the island with nightly sunsets, and a great deck lounge that is lively at night with people drinking together sitting on mats. One of the few places on the island with strong WiFi. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the accommodation was a nice wooden open air cabin with many single beds with mosquito nets. Plenty of showers and clean toilets. 5-Star hostel. "

"From our first contact with the manager about bringing our stay forward a day, due to a potential typhoon, to the free late check-out (3.45pm), the early check-in they gave us and the amazing staff, I cant speak highly enough of The Golden Beach Resort. The rooms were spotlessly clean, the air conditioning worked like a treat, the beds were so clean and so very comfortable. "Everything about my stay here was above and beyond. My only suggestion is that the food and beverages are priced about twice as much as the other resorts in the area. Try eating and drinking at Sara Resort which is a short walk down the beach."

Very convenient location beside the pier for ferry access. Be aware that it is a 15-20 minute walk down the beach for any other restaurant or store, but it is a beautiful walk on the beach."
