Maitai Polynesia Bora Bora
10/10 Excellent
"Breathtaking views in our overwater bungalow. The amenities were super. Everything is well maintained and the staff was friendly and helpful beyond measure. They tended to all of our needs. The restaurant had excellent food as well. The location of the property is absolutely perfect. There are two local markets, several restaurants within walking distance and an Avis Rental where you can rent electric bikes or scooters. Can't say enough about this beautiful property. We tend to not repeat visits as we want to explore as many places in the world as we can, but we see ourselves returning here in future. It's that good, particularly compared to the cost of the same type of experience that other properties on Bora Bora."

Rohotu Fare

"Second time at Rohotu Fare with Nir as the perfect host! Love this place and will be back!"

Four Seasons Resort Bora Bora
10/10 Excellent
"Our stay at Four Seasons Bora Bora was absolutely wonderful from start to finish! Arrival was seamless and our bungalow was ready when we arrived; which made the experience feel effortless right away, especially after multiple days of travel. Daily breakfast was amazing every morning, with so many delicious options to choose from. For dinner, there are multiple restaurants to chose from, but our favorite restaurant was Arii Moana. Executive Chef Mickael Messina is truly an artist in the kitchen. His passion, creativity, and attention to detail can be felt in every dish. Not only is his food exceptional, but he is also incredibly warm, kind, and gracious, which made our dining experience at Arii Moana even more memorable. The spa facility is gorgeous! My massage was excellent - truly one of the highlights of the trip. Definitely plan this into your trip! The entire property is beautifully maintained, and every detail reflects the care and excellence you expect from the Four Seasons. The resort also made my husband’s birthday so special, and we are very grateful to everyone who helped create such beautiful memories for us. Many thanks to the entire Four Seasons Bora Bora team for another unforgettable stay. This was our second visit, and we are already planning to return in 2027!"

The Westin Bora Bora Resort & Spa
10/10 Excellent
"Really beautiful hotel with excellent staff. Rooms are fabulous. Restaurants and bars are excellent. The best snorkeling of our lives in Bora Bora. Reef sharks, stingrays, lots of fish and beautiful coral, colorful giant clams. We took 3 snorkeling excursions and snorkeled twice from the hotel directly. Once from our back porch of our overwater bungalow, and once from their beautiful beach. The excursions take you to the best places for snorkeling, of course. Practical information: Expensive, but so are all the other hotels on the Motu in Bora Bora. You can only get around by boat, fyi. To get to the Westin from the airport, you take a complimentary Westin water taxi. To get to the mainland from Westin, water taxi is required. To get to another hotel on the Motu, water taxi. Get it? Wherever you choose to stay, you need to be prepared to eat all or most of your meals there, etc. If you want to go elsewhere, talk to the concierge to help you arrange it. There is no “water taxi uber” 😂."

InterContinental Bora Bora Le Moana Resort by IHG
10/10 Excellent
"Beautiful property!!!"

Le Bora Bora by Pearl Resorts
10/10 Excellent
"Every detaile of this property was excellent including the staff, the food, the help except for when checking out I was surprised that I was charged for the boat ride from the airport to the hotel which cost me $285.00. I was shocked since Hotels.com did not disclose this charge. That was disappointing! I thought since spending almost $8,000 the boat was complementary. Please for the future disclose every charge."

Le Taha'a by Pearl Resorts
8/10 Good
"We stayed at Le Taha’a after our stay at the Westin in Bora Bora (so naturally it makes comparisons of service levels tough to be fair). I will break down my feedback into a few categories: - pick up at airport was quick and smooth. It takes about 45-60min by speedboat to transfer. The ride was lovely to see the island on the way as your are isolated from the main village once at the resort. - Check in process was where I got a bit frustrated. It took for the reception staff to acknowledge us and process our check in (close to 30-40min) - it just felt silly how slow it was. - we were then taken to the room. Firstly the room was beautiful - nothing I could fault here. It was clean and gave us the traditional authentic vibe we were seeking. Beautiful fish and sharks to watch - stunning - food at the resort was limiting and value for dollar was lacking. It was not on the same level as any of the 3 bora bora resorts we have stayed in although the price for accommodation is comparable. Drinks were also more basic. - We loved travelling into town for the tours- they were fantastic and loved them all. So much to see and do from the vanilla farm, atvs, pearl farming, snorkelling - we loved it. - overall loved the island, grateful we got to see it in our overall French Polynesia itinerary. The hotel’s aesthetic and gardens are stunning. The service and food is what made me not give it 5 stars. It is just not at the level it’s charging for which made me feel a bit ripped off."

EDEN - Private Island - TAHA'A
10/10 Excellent
"The property is not doubt incredible. What makes this place is the staff. You can have the most beautiful place but without the staff it's simply a beautiful place. Solenn, the chef, (i can not remember his name and Sumo the boat captain were are what makes this place amazing. Their level of customer service with a caring heart is unbelievable. I can not emphasize this enough. The food is amazing. Everything we ate was delicious. DELICIOUS! We would have surprise dinners where we didn't know what we were going to have. This was such a fun little twist. Housekeeping would wisk in while we were at breakfast and clean our rooms. There were other ladies here cleaning up nature's little messes. (raking leaves that had fallen overnight). My husband and I both had the massage with the body scrub. AMAZING!! We went on a day trip where we were able to snorkel. We saw fish that we had never seen with the most vibrant colors. Learned about pearls, vanilla, how to make rum then swam with black tip reef shark!! Definitely worth it. Thank you to Solenn for making our time here so amazing. She is a gem."
