「The best hotel we’ve stayed in so far. The environment makes you feel like you are king or some type of government official lol. I love everything about the place. Beautiful view of the ocean, beautiful view of the community and the mountains. The foods are amazingly homemade delicious. Peaceful, quite and elegance. 」

The staff was very attentive to our needs from the couple’s massage to a member of staff traveling to pick up my order for flowers. Food was always delicious and the grounds were clean as well. 「Anamabo Beach Resort is one of our favorite places on earth! The food is always delicious - favorites include tilapia with banku and grilled lobster when they have it. breakfast is sumptuous and the fresh pineapple melts in you mouth. The staff is always friendly and helpful - many have been at the resort for years, and they never fail to remember our family. Beds are comfortable, and the rustic vibe is so relaxing. We can feel our blood pressure drop every time we come through the gate!」

「Unfortunately, the stay fell far below expectations. We were not told the hotel was undergoing renovations, which became clear on arrival. Our first room had a balcony door that wouldn’t lock, so we moved. The second room was well located but had major issues: the toilet never flushed (we were given a bucket), there was mould on the walls and curtains, the fridge was broken, and the water was often unavailable or ran brown without warning. We also experienced drain flies in the bathroom, regular...

「I didn't think the property remarkable at all. It was adverage at best. I only stayed one night and would probably not stay there again. I cannot compare this property to the others as I am unfamiliar with them. 」

「One of the best places to stay along the West African coast. The service is second to none. The rooms are clean, The food is excellent and most importantly there is a great variety of local Ghanaian cuisine- I strongly recommend the Red/red ( fried plantain and beans). The icing on the cake is the crisp, clean Ocean which is just metres away from your room! 」

「Room isn’t cleaned unless you ask them to, bit nobody tells you that when you check in. Even hanging the sign asking the maid to clean the room didnt work. I still came back 8 hours later to an uncleaned room. At buffet breakfast there were flies everywhere. This could have easily been solved with mosquito coils bit I only got glaring looks when I suggested it. 」
