"We had the most memorable stay thanks to the wonderful host, Kiki. So friendly and welcoming. The room was immaculate. Extremely clean and the communal kitchen area was well stocked with everything you can think of. It’s so nice to have a full kitchen available to help lower the overall costs of a vacation (fridge, stove, microwave, coffee maker…) And having washing machine made a huge difference. We were able to pack less and keep our beach towels clean😊. You cannot beat the location. The Lodge is less than a 10 minute walk from the ferry terminal. There is a small market nearby and a large grocery store five minutes away. There is also a Hertz and Thrifty rental car location within a five minute walk as well. Our favorite beach, Temae beach is an 8 min drive away. When you walk down the driveway. You cross the street and can see the sun rising over the bay. It is so beautiful and serene. Wonderful way to start the day. I would recommend this Lodge to everyone. Great for solo travel and also for families. It was the best price I found on the entire island, and was so pleased with the result. A lot of times you look at pictures of an periphery and you are underwhelmed when you arrive. This was the complete opposite. The pictures were good, but it was even better in person. 5 stars for the accommodations, amenities, location, staff, and value. Staying at this Lodge made our already amazing vacation an unforgettable one. I highly highly highly recommend Vaiare Lodge."
Cook's Bay Hotel and Suites

"The location and setting were very good. There a few things that did not go well. 1. The bathroom light was not able to be turned off, shining light into the bedroom all night. 2. My room was next to the tourism centre and drop off point for the cruise ships’ shuttles therefore was quite noisy at times and made the large balcony not usable.. 3. I was also bitten by a dog on a walk. Fortunately the pharmacy and doctor nearby were very helpful. 4. There were dogs and chickens walking freely through the property- some may not like this. Best part of my stay was the walk to the bar and the view and sunset- beautiful."

"The location of this place is incredible. We saw so many sting rays and sharks right on the patio. There was a great little shop right nearby with awesome pastries and premade food. The decor of the place makes you feel like you’re on a magical retreat. They are very welcoming and give you delicious fancy tiki drinks with fruit and flower garnishes when you check in. The garden is so beautiful and well maintained. My only issue was at night there were thousands of ants on the ceiling and in the bathroom. Luckily we booked a place with two bedrooms and 2 bathrooms so we went into the other room when the ants came out at night. Despite the ants I would recommend this place if you’re looking for a special experience that you will remember forever."

"This pension is run by a family. They were lovely and we felt part of the family when we left a week later. The owner cooks for you if you request it. By the way healthy meals, delicious, and well balanced. You can have breakfast as well if you let them know the day prior. I highly recommend this place situated in a quiet area where relaxation takes absolute center place"

"Our bungalow was only a few steps from the ocean, and the view was stunning! The property was so peaceful and quiet. We loved the new and clean bungalow. Staff were amazing; especially Mehe! We will definitely be back!"
