The host welcomed me very well. The parking space is also easily available very close to the place. In the main fridge everything is available for breakfast. They provided me with milk, juice, egg, cereals and everything. It was a convenient stay.

Good price, good location, very friendly host. Old house without any fancy or luxurious features, but everything works. Full kitchen, you-cook breakfast with fresh milk, eggs & many more goodies.

The property was in a super cute neighborhood. Loved that the room was big enough for myself my partner and his kid. We had a fridge and a microwave. And an ensuite which was perfect. We had to head out early in the morning but we're super excited that breakfast is available. Definitely will be back. Robert the property manager was one of the most nicest hosts I've ever had!

Great place for a couple who got rained out of our camping trip. Robert is a friendly and courteous host who went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. We had a private room with en-suite bathroom, mini fridge and microwave. There were other people staying in the next room, but we barely heard or saw them. Will definitely go back in the future! Old character house in a nice safe area. Our room has the bathroom outside but we were the only one using that bathroom. There was another room with insuite bathroom. Walking distance to a metro station and very nice area called Hochelaga. The backyard was super nice to hang out at night. Beds were comfortable and they installed AC the day we were there. Parking is street parking two blocks away.

Robert our host was very nice and very accommodating. Our room, room 2 was excellent. Clean, comfortable and decorated very nicely. We will definitely stay here again. The price was certainly well within our desired rate.

The facilities are nice, spacious room, good bathroom, functional kitchen, long breakfast window time, and friendly manager. However, eventhough you chose a non smoking room you can still smell it everywhere. Aside from that everything is good.

Pretty good!

Our host was wonderful. The space was clean and comfortable and we enjoyed our stay. We appreciated having breakfast abailable. The only drawbacks were that street parking is a challenge in this area but you can park at the property for an extra $20/day and the dish soap and hand soap were very watered down. Other than that we really enjoyed our stay.

Amazing place. The owner/manager greeted me when I arrived and showed me the room. Not just said here's the key, room 3, but showed me the room, where everything was kept, and how to work the remote. The bed was the most comfortable I have ever slept in. The bathroom was small, but spotless. The kitchen was set up for breakfast in the morning, and the coffee was good.

The place was smelling smoke. Eventhough the rooms where equipped with freshners, it was still there. Add said there was free breakfast we didnt get. Most importantly i was left with minor rashes on my body after 1night sleep. But the host was friendly, supportive and the communication was good (English ). Important attractions where witn in 1.30 hr (using public transport ). Another problem was parking. Its hard to find.

Furniture Mattresses, Toiletries and overall it is all below standard and safe.Not at all value for money.Accomodation is so congested and suffocating.Toilet soap,Dishwasher is mixed with lot of water and not at all hygienic. No Sir onditioning ventilation.Security system for door is so noisy and disturbing.False fire alarm causing unnecessary visit of firefighters. Only one good things behavior of Mr Robert,service with smile,very nice person.

The manager was really nice area it was really convenient and close and it is such a pretty neighborhood the only thing I didn't like was the cleanliness there was a lot of hair on the floor and trash already in the trash but for the price that we got- the service that we got it was unbeatable for a 2 night stay. Recommend this place if you're on the go and trying to discover Montreal not if you are looking for a a place where you want to stay in all day.

My daughter, her friend and I had a great stay at Maison Montplaisir. It’s on a quiet street, around the corner from a bus line that is only a short ride to the metro. The accommodations are not fancy, but it is very quiet, has everything you need and and the beds are really comfy. The host is an absolute gem! He is so warm and inviting, it made the stay extra special. We will definitely be returning.

You get what you pay for (for the area I suppose). The room was fine, although the private shower was out of order so we were offered the one down the hall. This is definitely less of a motel and more of an Airbnb/spare room. While nothing was blatantly dirty there were little things like stained sheets and crumbs on the futon that kept it from feeling completely clean. The hosts were friendly enough and helped us find parking down the block as there wasn't any out front (as expected).
